In this post I’m going to tell you a little bit about Banners Broker. But first for those of you who have followed me, know that over the past few years I’ve dabbled with Google Sniping, had some success with SEO using on-page and off-page strategies, and more recently had good results driving traffic from Twitter using some automated tools.
However, my dream of a passive income still illuded me. However I came across a couple of opportunities recently, and after careful research for several months, while in the meantime some close friends were making money hand over fist, I decided to take the plunge. The system they were using is called Banners Broker – an opportunity where you share in the profits of banner advertising.
My concerns were not whether I would lose money – all my friends were making making with it and showed me the proof, but I just wanted to make sure that Banners Broker was a genuine business. I also spent considerable time understanding all the ins and outs to make sure I could optimise my returns from the business.
Finally I took the plunge, and I’m glad to report that I did.
Actually, it proved to be simpler than I expected. One of my friends had producd a full handbook covering all aspects of the business, and this proved very useful.
Actually all you need to begin is the fast start guide, but I’m one of those people who like to know before they go !
The thing I liked about Banners Broker was that you don’t need to refer others to it to turn a profit. I’ve had some experience of MLMs in the past, and while I admire those who can create huge numbers of referrals, I could never manage more than about four. I’m also much happier pottering around on a computer than contacting others.
Banners Broker – How it Works
Like I said, with Banners Broker you are given the opportunity to participate in the profits of Banner Advertising. The most common entry level is the purchase of a Green or Professional Package costing $415, and that was the level that best suited my pocket, though there are packages ranging from $25 to $3,655
There’s a 5% admin fee and in the UK VAT to pay, so the Green Package costs $529 . I paid in $600 because I wanted to buy a few extra banner advertising panels to get my business of to a quick start and to cover the first $15 per month administration fee on the anniversary date. I’d estimated that profits from the business would cover my monthly fee by the time I’d reached my second monthly anniversary.
Banners Broker do all the work for you by putting together Advertisers (Companies that want to advertise their product) with Publishers (Website owners who rent space to place banner advertisements).
My Results with Banners Broker
After less than a month I can safely say that I’m well on the way to doubling my investment.
My friend Pauline who started last October with an investment of about $1,000 has seen it grow to $4,000

If you’re good at writing copy, or have access to a professional copywriter, then perhaps long copy sales pages would work for you, but what you need to realise is that as an affiliate marketer it’s not really your job to write the sales copy and sell the product to the customer – that’s the job of the merchant who developed the product, via his sales page.
As an affiliate marketer you are merely reviewing or telling of your experiences with the product, creating a little interest and providing a hyperlink to the merchant’s sales page where the visitor can discover further information.
After carefully sifting through a number of training options and looking at several in more detail I finally stumbled across a little known approach that would provide me with a successful affiliate marketing program.
Now, I’d dabbled somewhat with Search Engine Optimisation, or SEO, in the past, not too successfully I might add, but I knew enough to realise two things: (i) SEO is a subject that you can study and learn about (ii) That I knew a little but realised there was a lot more I didn’t know that I needed to learn if I was going to be successful.
What appealed to me about search engine optimisation ,in regard to internet affiliate marketing, was that you do the work only once, i.e. build a website with on-page and off-page optimisation which gains you a high Google positioning, and then without any further work benefit from the free traffic that you receive for months or perhaps even years to come.
And as we all know, Traffic= Income.

And I’m very glad I found the Google Sniper System. Because that’s what it is – a system.
Up until then I had gleaned quite a few tips,tricks and techniques from my researches, but these were just a series of disrelated ideas without a common theme and step by step approach.
Approaches such as long copy sales pages can work for you if you have the necessary skills, or can hire them, and distributing your affiliate link through Social Media such as Facebook or Twitter has the advantage of being free but is a rather labour intensive affiliate marketing program.
SEO on the other hand can be taught and once you learn how to do it, it’s just a case of repeating a proven formula over and over.
And that is what I found with the Google Sniper system – a proven formula, developed by SEO expert George Brown and used very successfully by himself and his students.

Hi, my affiliate marketing story began with Facebook. I’d heard all the buzz so decided to book myself on a four day Facebook Marketing seminar organised by Internet Marketing phenomenon Mark Anastasi.
What has this got to do with affiliate marketing ? Well there are half a billion Facebook Users and counting, so if you can find a way to put your affiliate link in front of just a small percentage of them, then that has to be a great affiliate marketing strategy – right ?
Because of course if you can get traffic following your affiliate link to the product’s sales page, and that sales page converts visitors into buyers then you get paid affiliate commission (=$$$$).
Earnings per Click
If you get 100 click on your link and two buy, that’s 2 x $20=$40
$40/100= 40 cents . So 40 cents, or $0.40, is your earnings per click.
400 clicks per day = financial independence
How valuable is traffic ?
Well its been said that 400 clicks per day = financial independence.
At $0.25 – $1.00 per click 400 visitors = $100 to $400 in earned affiliate commission per day- from Clickbank for example, or you can become an Amazon affiliate to promote physical products. Clickbank is a good place to start because the affiliate commissions are 50-70%. Is this starting to make sense now as a an affiliate strategy?
Facebook Pages for Affiliate Marketers
Facebook Pages were previously called Fan Pages.

Create 10 fan pages a day for 30 days = 300 Pages
Create some new accounts for this, with several Fan Pages on each account.

A vital technique is to focus on a particular keyword in each Page of your site – one keyword per web page associated with your niche. This starts most of all with the Page Title.

The quality of a site is signified by a term called its Page Rank. This is a number from 0-10 with 10 showing a site with the ideal authority.
A link from a internet site with a Google Page Rank of 10 would be truly worth its weight in gold.
For example:
1 Page Rank 6 link is worth approximately 125 Page Rank 3 links.
1 Page Rank 7 link is worth approximately 625 Page Rank 3 links.
Youtube videos rank very well (Youtube is owned by Google), so producing Youtube movies and adding a hyperlink to you website is a great internet affiliate marketing strategy.
